A look at how big my babies are getting...a little reminiscing!

Okay enough

So I was sitting at the computer desk minding my own business when I felt something soft on my leg, it felt just like the cat's tail rubbing my leg. Well, I look down and there is no cat in sight....so what is it! OH MY GOD....when I saw what it was I almost passed out, I jumped up and threw off my clothes in two seconds flat, shrieking the whole time. I looked over at Carter who was looking at me like I had lost my mind. He was probably wondering why I was standing in the living room naked and yelling and freaking out for what appeared to be no reason! Oh, well there was a reason, it was an ugly, freaky, gross...my skin is still crawling, here it is.....

Seriously, I have had enough creepy crawling things for awhile! No more centipedes and no more crabs!! I can't take much more!!!

Okay, so I was coming back home tonight and as I made my way up to the door I heard some moving around. I got freaked out of course, I thought it was probably some big cockroach. I went and got the troops....I mean Reece and told him to come help me! So we open the front door and move his boogie boards and what do we see???? Not a cockroach........

How scary is that huge thing!! It must have been dropped by a bird or something, I can't figure out how else it would get up 2 flights of stairs.

Breaks over back to the grind!

David went back to school this morning! I'm a little bummed it was nice having him around to hang out with us, but as he said the only way to get out of here is to keep moving forward. So today he's starting his 2nd semester! And I'm starting my 1st semester as President of our Spouses Organization. I love that it is giving me something to keep busy with, and seriously without this group I would have gone nuts getting down here and then living down here! I was a sponsor for an incoming family last semester and they just arrived a week ago or so. It was so nice to help another family with their transition and trying to make it a better adjustment for them just like my sponsor had done for us.

So back to the grind for Dave and back to trying to keep these kids entertained for mom! Luckily Reece goes back to school on Monday which will keep him busy. This summer I'm going to babysitting a 9 year old boy, that will be so nice for Reece. He'll have someone to hang out with this summer. Also, we have a family coming down that has a 9 year old and twin 7 year olds! So finally there are going to be some kids Reece's age!

Well I better run, because I'm sure world war 3 is about to take place or there's another spill to clean up!
