Just a quick post to let everyone know that the semester is finally over and Dave sailed through with flying colors! We are 4th semester...plus a little! I'm so proud of him he did amazing!
A little bit of other news, our internet has been out for over a week and will continue to be out for an undetermined amount of time! So if you need to contact us the best way is through e-mail, since our phone doesn't work without the internet. So in case you have been trying to contact us, everything is ok with us and will be even better when I get some internet back!
Dave's parents arrive today and we are so excited! We plan to visit the butterfly farm, hit some beaches and on Saturday they are watching the kids so Dave and I can visit one of the surrounding islands, Saba. Next week after they leave, Dave and I are going to take the kids to Anguilla, another island about a 45 minute ferry ride away! Then next Thursday Maria, Julie, and Shelly arrive!! Whoppppeeee a lot to look forward too....so I have to go!! I'll update with pictures soon! And cross your fingers for some fast island work at getting our internet working again!

On the downhill slide
Well, the semester is coming to a close. So we just had our Farewell Lunch for the Spouses Org again. I can't believe another group of girls is leaving! Time is flying by down here. Dave just had block exams on Monday and now is getting ready for his finals next Thursday. This semester is going very well and is a TON better all around then the h*ll we suffered through last semester. He is feeling pretty confident going into these final exams and its nice to not have to deal with him freaking out! One more week and we'll be 4th semster!!! YEA!!
Reece is still busy at school and Carter has made a new friend. JT and Carter are about the same age and love to hang out. Here are a few pictures of a beach day we recently had together. All the kids and Moms went on a hike from Friar's Bay back to a hidden beach called Happy Bay. It was a pretty easy hike and the kids did great!
We are gearing up for Jean and Glen's visit in a few weeks and are super excited to do some tourist stuff again! I can't wait to get Dave out on the beach even though I know he dreads it! On May 1st my 3 gal pals from Hastings are coming to visit and hopefully we'll get to do the Friday Farewell this time and it won't be canceled! We plan to spend the time celebrating my birthday and relaxing...without any kids!!!! Other exciting news, we have new renters for our house!! We have some friends in Hastings that sold their house and need a place to stay while they find a new one...so we are helping each other out! We are thrilled to be getting some help with the mortgage and feel glad someone is going to be in it to take care of things. So things for the Reimers' are going well....we hope things are going well for you too!

The Courage Award
We are so proud of Reece. He was awarded a certificate in courage today at school. They were honoring the kids in each class that speak out and stop bullying and Reece got it for his class! Already it starts at 3rd grade, we have had to deal with a few occasions where he has come home already getting teased about being short or fat...and it makes me sad to think kids start all that so early but I'm so proud that the teacher notices him handling it in a good way and stopping it when he sees kids getting picked on. We have been stressing to him how important it is to remember what it feels like to get picked on and not to do it to others, including his brothers, and it looks like he's understanding! Way to go Reece!
On another note, check this picture we took last night of Gavin and Chewy! So funny!
